Spent the weekend up at Mid-Ohio for AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days! It was awesome and pretty chaotic. We got there on Saturday and immediately joined a parade lap around Mid-Ohio Sportscar Course, then watched a mini-road course supermoto race, hopped over to a trial bike exhibition, caught the road racing which had both AMA Superbikes and vintage bikes, and then got to check out the wall of death and soo much more!

There were thousands of bikes and people zipping all over the place on everything from pit-bikes to race bikes to dirt bikes to ADV bikes and everything in between.
You know its small when it makes a Grom look big.

I have a few videos that I’ll try to share later. One of the road races was a class of 20-30 SV650's!!! The swap meet area was staggering there were soo many bikes and parts for sale. It’s really an awesome event and I plan on coming back next year!

I was there Friday from 11:30 until 6pm... It was fun... I foolishly thought I would be able to get a demo KTM ride by getting there so late... no luck.
Anyway, I saw the Trials stunt riders, watched some bikes rip around the track, checked out the massive swap meet, watched some pit bikes in the upper paddock.
I did go check out the demo rides Ducati was holding at Iron Pony on Sunday. I rode a Multistrada 1200s and a XDiavel. Vibrations in the handlebars on the 120os are killer :(
It’s nice having MO under an hour from my house.

SV’s have more or less there own racing class. 650 mini/super twins. the ninja 650 is in it too AFAIK, but its no where near as competitive, so everyone just runs SV’s

Nice! I was there Saturday and Sunday. I was planning on getting there early on Sunday to try to snag a KTM demo ride, but a little too much Saturday night bourbon threw a wrench in that plan.
I came up from Cincy so it’s not too long of a ride especially when I have friends at OSU with a couch to crash on

there was one lone bike in the class that wasn’t an SV. The other class running at the same time was the bigger twins which included the Ducatis, KTM’s, and even a Buell!

That explains a lot. I drove past there heading to C-bus on Saturday and back north in early evening. I saw a few trailers with bikes and more bikes than normal on the roads too.
